I woke this morning in a tornadic sweep of emotions ... today, the day you move into an apartment on the campus where you begin yet another journey. "Letting go" is the most difficult process a mother goes through. No matter how "prepared" you are for this moment, it is a dynamic that changes/affects most everything in a mother's life. How do you "let go" of a child that formed within your own body, and has been within your reach every day for the past 18 years and 9 months ... you don't. Instead, you send a grown man out into the world ALONG WITH your heart, forever. And you understand that this is the moment, and the reason, that this life was created in the first place.
Never, will I let you go; but today, is the day for which all I have taught, becomes your foundation for a life apart.
My heart goes with you ... WHEREVER you go and EVERYWHERE you go. And with that, you will always be within my reach, and I yours.
As Danny and Shannon before you, have moved into the direction of their dreams (and done so superbly), I wish you this same sense of knowing and understanding (even if the understanding at any given moment seems jumbled).

- A Scorpio, I am. Sign of water/sexuality. Emotion. Myers/Briggs personality test resulted INTF (Introvert, Intuition, Feeling, Perceiving) 100% accurate! Only 1% of the world pop. has this personality type; the other 99% has trouble relating to INTF's! I am extremely introverted, can handle noise/crowds for exactly 1 hour before retreating to the quiet or my music somewhere. Oddly enough, I am drawn to customer service. My favorite word is dance. Dance represents how I strive to live..to a beat that allows my body and soul to release in rhythm. I am over 50 now. Dance with me ... while there is still time!
