Last day of March

The sun tries to shine!  I ran to open the blinds! 
Moments came upon me;
Bliss, as shadows cast their mark on this carpet of mine :)

Days upon days without the shine; cloud covered gray skies threaten us with rain; temperatures "below normal" give us intermittent flurries of snow; this last day of March is just fine by me!  Bring on April's sun shine!!  ("April showers, bring May flowers" ... well, maybe the sun can shine through the showers? ... haha ... it's okay  'cuz with the passing of March, we are one month closer to all those flowers)

I think once more of how "moments" of bliss can put back into your step that hop, skip and jump.  I may be questioning these potential employers who seem to find no value in me and send those impersonal, formatted "sorry, we have no use for you at this time" postcards and emails (after a few of these, the self-esteem plummets); I may be losing sleep over whether or not I have enough gas in the car to get to the job I do have every day and how to feed my "growing" 16-year old son and how to come up with $ to send to a "world traveler" daughter 1300 miles away; I may curse everytime I open the front door to find that swinging storm door whose top and bottom arms have detached and walk by fist sized holes a few places in drywall throughout the house, because there is not a man "available" to me to fix such "man jobs";  I may pray every waking second that my health maintains it's "healthy" status due to no medical insurance; and, I may have a few days where I don't "feel like" getting out of bed ... but when the "sun tries to shine", I will always be the first to notice and take it inside of me as another moment of strength and courage!!

So come on April ... you are all mine!  Make me dance ... and dance ... and dance ...
