It started with previews shown on TV that legend Stevie Nicks would appear on GMA Friday, August 26th ... I marvel at the grace of aging of several of my favorite female music icons including Cher, Reba, Dolly, and Stevie ... I notice that each of these icons have a distinct and recognizable voice the instant you hear it, whether it raspy, growly, or tangy ... all equaling "sexy" to me. For me, growing up with these voices made "life changes" more accepting ... more understandable ... as their lyrics resonated with changes and/or situations that most every woman goes through. Their music has comforted, confirmed, acknowledged, empowered many, many of my days as the rollercoaster ride has emblazened my trail.
